Day1: Mt Fuji, Tokinokane, Yakushima Island! Japan[:

July 27, 2010- 12:17 pm

A really pretty waterfall in Yakushima Island!

Today was an amazing day! I know it's late but I just had to post how my first day went! After I got off the plant I took a little nap and went around asking about some nice places to visit that tourists enjoy! After a long while of translating and frustation I finally decided to go to Mt. Fuji! Japan's most famous and most sacred mountain.  It is held in reverence by the Japanese and climbing its trail is a rite of passage it's also Japan's tallest peak! Afterwards I went to Tokinokane and saw the huge bell clock! They still ring the bell 4 times a day like they did back in the old days which i think is REALLY cool they don't give up their traditions! The last place i visited before it got super dark was Yakushima Island! Man I think that was the prettiest place I've ever beent too!  I had so many pictures but I couldn't upload all of them! Well man I'm exhastued so i'll keep you updated some more tommorow!
Goodnight,
Jazzy!

I love the reflection of Mt. Fuji on the water!
