Man, I can't believe today was my last day in Japan! It was such an amazing experience! With the different culture, language, buildings, just everything was so magnificient!! At the beginning of the day I decided to go to Miyajima because I heard it was a beautiful island where they worshipped it as it was a god! Which I thought was very interesting! This belief, passed down from generation to generation, has protected Itsukushima Shrine, many other shrines and temples as well as the island's unique culture, and its sacred nature. Renowned for being a world cultural heritage site today, Miyajima is an island where people and gods dwell together! Haha I learned alot while I was there!! After that I decided I wanted to some lunch so I went to a very high populated restaurant called Seiryumon!Chinese food at a restaurant with a surreally decorated "Heaven or Hell" theme. The toilets in the mens and womans bathroom is shaped like a pair of lips and sings opera at you!! It was sooo awkward but so funny and cool at the same time! Everybody else that came into the bathroom seemed as if they were used to it and enjoyed it!! What the heck! It was eerie sittin' on the potty, havin' that face look at me. Then after a few moments, loud funky music started to play and soon the face moved forward. I just sat there, wondering if my legs would be crushed or something! I had to hurry finish my business and stood to the side of the toilet and watched amusedly as the face spared a few inches between itself & the toilet front before it slowly retreated back. I think it also said "come again" after it had shifted back to its original position and the music stopped. I get the feeling not a whole lotta women use this bathroom, heh heh heh.I wanted to see what colorful monstrosity was in the men's bathroom so a dudedtook a pic for me. I'm told that when you pee into the giant mouth, loud music starts to play, the mouth then sways, the arms above move, waving a gold bar and a flashing camera, as if taking a picture of you. After the show, it said "Come again." Atfer my awkward moment I saved the best for last and finally went to Tokyo!!! :D Words can't explain how beautiful it was!! The lights, the people, cars everywhere, taxis, signs, high billboards it was extrodinary! I couldn't have picture a better ending to the vacation!! Well I really hope you enjoyed my blog! And learned and saw alot more of Japan than you had before! :D
